Scamletters.com is an online searchable database and central reporting resource for scam emails. We report the latest scams, including Advance Fee Fraud, Lottery Scams, Phishing, Identify Theft, Employment & Auction Scams and other Internet Fraud received by email. Our site is updated daily. The database is available to law enforcement agencies around the world to conduct online investigations into reported scam emails. Visitors may report scams by signing up for an account and submitting scam emails directly to our database. Alternatively, scam messages can be forwarded to our central scam letters email address.

This website is an online scam letter database where visitors can report scam letters by adding it to our database. All scam letters added to our database will be publicized in an attempt to prevent potential victims to fall prey to online fraudsters. Not only will this website alert potential victims to scam letters, but we have created our state-of-the-art database to assist Law Enforcement agencies from around the world to make use of this service by identifying the location of scammers and link possible syndicate activities.

Already being used by law enforcement agencies, you can become part of this initiative by reporting your scam to us simply by adding it to our database and start making a difference in the statistics of online crimes.

ScamLetters.com is an initiative and free public service inspired by current law enforcement officials involved in Commercial Crime related investigations.

How do I add a scam letter?

You will be required to sign up for a user account. We require this in order to prevent our database from being corrupted by bots and other similar tools used by spammers and scammers. Simply click on the ‘Register’ button to create your account.

After your account has been created and activated, you can enter our control panel by clicking on the ‘Control Panel’ link.

From here you move your mouse pointer over the ‘Actions’ tab and click on ‘Add new letter’. Once the page has opened you can copy and paste your full e-mail headers and below that the actual e-mail content and click on ‘Save Letter’. That’s it! Our database will do the rest in a blink of an eye.

Important Note: Please note that we do require that you add full header information with every scam letter you add to our database. This assists law enforcement agencies in the linking of scam letters and tracing the origin of fraudsters. For more information on finding full header information click on the ‘Finding Full Headers’ link at the top of this site.

If you do not wish to sign up for an account, you can forward your scam letters to scamletter@gmail.com - Again, please remember to add full header information on the e-mail.

Why ScamLetters.com?

Very little are done with scam letters reported to law enforcement agencies from around the world. We have launched this free public service as a repository for the general public to report scam letters to, as well as a centralized resource for law enforcement agencies to conduct investigations on a thorough and proper manner. By adding scam letters to our database users actively participate in a proactive fight against online scams and at the same time assist law enforcement agencies in proper crime investigations.
